hi sophie,
now that u have got a file number the next stage is sponsorship approval (AOR). the immigration office in canada is responsible to determine whether ur eligible to sponsor ur partner or not. hopefully ur gonna get it very soon after receiving a file number. then theyll transfer ur application to Ankara for ur partners permanent residence visa processing. u don't need to worry about wedding pics. as far as u provide them with some pictures which prove ur marriage genuineness like aghd ceremony or pics u guys had taken before during engagement in parties, trips such as honeymoon or else would be ok. u could also include the email, chat n telephone prints in ur application. hope u guys have a very fast processing n reunite in a few months.

we submited the application on June 11th. We received the file number email on July 3rd but we have not received the AOR yet. what is the normal time for receiving it? the date we receive AOR is the same as the date you guys mention for the transfer of the file to Ankara?
by the way, does the fact that we have received the file number mean the application is complete and lacks no documents?
will you pease inform me in detail what emails we should be waiting for and with what intervals?

I have a quick question.
My status online is changed to "In Progress" about 2 weeks ago but I never received any confirmation email from CIC for this status change. Is it normal?

I should mention that, i received conformation emails for both my first status changes,1- Application received and 2-application sent to Ankara.

they don't send you any letter (Email) for change status in Ecase. its normal.

they send you letter when they request your passport for issue visa .

I have a quick q for those that got a request for permanent residency fee how long after did you receive the ppr ?? let me know

hi everyone,
I just wanted to give a quick note to those receiving their pprs. BE CAREFUL who you give your passport to get it stampted in Ankara.
I used an agency called khorshid shahdad in vanak and it seems like they didn't give us the "landing document" which is a long sheet of paper. The immigration officer in Canada barely let my wife land. She said that we should immediately get it back from the agency as it is a confidential document and they could take advantage of it.
Always look for the stuff inside of the package you receive. The envelope should have the logo of the government of Canada. The envelope we received had no such logo either

OMG this is horrible. now i'm feeling nervous cuz mine is still on the way and they promised to give my stamped passport back next week.hope everything goes well with u soon.

hi, theres no scheduled time, some may receive it 1month after submitting landing fee and some about a year.
