Aww, I just logged into ECAS for the first time in a while to see what it says. I have a new line:

4. [My Name] entered Canada at Fort Erie Peace Bridge on October 5, 2015 and became a Permanent Resident.

Makes me so happy to see

I don't think I ever got a line saying they sent me correspondence, so I wouldn't worry for those of you who don't have it. Just call the call centre and ask if they mailed out the COPR yet. They are able to tell you that, at least my agent was without an issue.

Our Ecas changed to decision made on Oct.24th...

6 days only, I think. Well maybe 5 technically? If I'm remembering correctly, they sent the COPR out on September 25th and I received it October 1. But I didn't see a DM until the 26th, so it was already in the mail one day when I saw DM. Does that make sense? haha

Got COPR in the mail today! I cannot remember last time I was this excited!

Here is our timeline: (for main events)
Application recived in Canada: December 15th 2014.
AOR: March 5th 2015
- Application moved to Ottawa -
Sponsorship approval: March 15th 2015
ECAS changed to IP and DM in October 2015*
Passport request from London: October 21st 2015
COPR recived in the mail in Denmark: November 6th 2015
Landing: December 15th 2015

Can't belive I will land exactly one year after the whole things started

* In between August and October ECAS changed from IP to DM two times because they had forgotten to add my son to the application. Had they processed it correctly the first time we would have recived the COPR in september already.

After DM you will recieve an email asking for a copy of your passport and 2 passport photos, after you have mailed this they will sent you the COPR.

Do all nationalities need to send copy of passport? I though some (including Australia) were exempt? And I would have included passport copy and 8 photos in my original application.

Not sure.

We got a passport request even though Denmark is also visa exempt and we included passport copies and photos in our originial application.

It might be different with Australia since you are a Commonwealth country.

Not necessarily. My application (US-sourced, but already living in Canada on temporary status) was processed completely without any document requests from CPC-Ottawa, but this was a bit before the "IP for everyone / proof of residence" boilerplate.

The circumstances under which the visa office requests photos is at best murky. My semi-satirical bet is that their paperclips aren't very good and they tend to lose the photographs attached to original applications.

We were SOOO happy to FINALLY see this last night as well. My husband landed in July but the computer system was screwy and to make a long story short they sent us 2 letters asking to see the stamp on his passport because they didn't know what day he actually landed (for his PR card)!

The first letter listed the wrong IMM form, but we faxed away the required information x2.

Then after a month of hearing nothing, he got another nearly identical letter, this time with the right IMM number. Apparently they didn't get the first faxes? No idea why, the fax service is one I've used before with no problems. It was very frustrating! We used a different fax service this time, and now he has the word "COMPLETE" on his ecas along with those lines.

Also interesting to note, the PR card has a separate section in ECAS, it even shows when it was mailed out! So 4 bloody months after landing we are expecting his card any day now (ecas says it was mailed on Oct. 30).

So happy to be done with CIC!

Congrats! Which address did you put as your correspondence address (I believe it would show in ecas under the applicant's name)?

all i see is home addrress ,canada for myself and usa address for my husband who is being sponsored
