LMAO, i really wish they had sent the app to my country of birth rather than Ottawa as I probably would have had a decision already.

I wouldn't panic yet -- the PR portion of our app is still Application Rec'd so the fact you're already marked as In Progress despite applying three months after us is likely a good sign -- for you. ;)
I check eCAS at least once a day, usually twice.

No updates, just DM. I was able to call the call centre though and confirmed for me that it was an approval and told me when the COPR was mailed out, so give that a shot if you are curious?

I did receive a confirmation from CPC. Not sure if everybody receives this as I actually emailed them before they replied.
This is what they said:

Dear Sir/Madam

Our office confirms that your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline.

Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.


We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.

Come to think of it, does anybody know what this should mean? Thanks guys!
 
A sign of life from Ottawa this morning! eCAS now shows as our PR application as being In Process!
Me when I saw the change -> :o

Basically what they are saying is, your application is in our office collecting dust and we can not give you a time frame of when we can come to a final decision and to please don't contact us for another 6 months.

Mine also changed to in process. Getting closer
 
Same for me! :) if I click on it, it actually says that they started processing it on June 4th but it only changed to IP today.
 
Ditto. IP today, too (though ecas says they've been processing it since July 6th). The CIC must have picked up a new stack today.

I'm going to assume the wait between IP and DM is a few weeks for Ottawa for a married couple with no kids?

Let's hope this holiday weekend puts an extra pep in their step when they return. :P
 
Hi guys,

My PR application is also getting into IP too.


We received XXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on May 19, 2015.
We started processing XXXXXXXX's application on July 27, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Is anyone else having problems accessing the 2015 outland spreadsheet? (Linked in my signature.)
 
Hopefully good news that the May applicants are starting to see IP's!
 
Went IP this morning! Well, according to eCAS, they started July 15.

Any idea why it seems to take them so long to update eCAS to IP? Do they do it after clearing a few hurdles, say? Just curious why it wouldn't start to show IP, you know, when they supposedly started processing it.
