I'm ready for some movement at Ottawa...! I can't wait to see ya'll start getting DM:) I wish we had more folks on the forums instead of just a handful so we could get a better feel of where they're at! I feel like they're still finishing up July and August honestly.

#Amen! lol

I live in Ottawa.... if they need some extra hands to process these applications I can definitely help. :D Also ... since they do not give AOR 2's... it's basically just contact if they need additional items or just straight COPR? ???

Yeah you either get the dreaded email saying they need extra info or one saying its in the final states of processing. As we are residing in the UK they asked for copy of the passport, extra photos (one of which is attached to one copy of the COPR - you get two copies) and some updated info.

They ask for another passport copy and more photos even if I sent it in my application package?

They have done for those being approved recently although not sure if they have been doing it for US applicants as well.... but yes 2 extra photos we had to send. Although we were processed in Ottawa we could send the info to London who issued the COPR. It was pretty quick from DM only couple weeks.

Im from Sweden so our office was supppse to be London aswell. Maybe they just want more recent photos before issueing the COPR? :) So you have the option of choosing which office to send them to?

Yeah in the email they said we could sent to Ottawa (which wasn't happening given our experiences with Canada Post!) or London as we are based in UK. One of photos is attached to one of the copies of the COPR (I believe CBSA keep this copy on landing) when you receive it.

If they need anything, they'll send you a email, as long as you've given them permission to do that.

Aside from that, keep checking ECAS. There will be a lot of time with no change. You get sick of seeing "Application Received." Then, suddenly, you'll see "In process" and you should then get a "Decision made" status usually about 1 to 3 weeks later. After that, you'll get the COPR (or CPR) as soon as they get it in the mail and it travels to your place.

I have a question about the Ottawa spreadsheet.

I've heard that Ottawa doesn't send an AOR2. But it seems like many people have filled in their entry with the colour indicating that they have received an AOR2.

Am I reading it wrong?

I was thinking the same thing the other day.... I only know my file made it to Ottawa 5 days after SA, because I ordered the notes, but I didn't change the color to AOR2.

Yeah, I'm not sure. Ottawa doesn't send out AOR2s, but a lot of us have ordered our notes, emailed Ottawa or been in contact with the Call Centre it seems. I assume the person just changed it all since we aren't going to get AOR2s

the call center agents can tell you if the file has actually been transferred over to Ottawa and the date?

If you order your notes, you'll see the actual transfer date. The call center person MIGHT tell you, it depends on who you get. Some reps are tight lipped and some are much nicer.

Hello All.

I have updated my details on one of the spreadsheets but cant recollect which one. I think it was the FSW one. Just wanted to share my timelines and get some advice on by when I should expect the next update and what should it be AOR or MR ?

Applied within Canada
Visa Office: Ottawa

App received: 10th Dec 2015
PER received : 26th Feb 2015

Since then just waiting..

Thanks a ton in advance for your help.
