Yeah! My first address change was super fast. They even emailed me back a few hrs later. That's why I'm scratching my head lmao.

Hmmm weird. I was shocked. If only they worked that fast all the time lol

Hmm I requested an address change thru CPC-Ottawa's email address April 15th and I still haven't seen it change in ECAS. I wonder if they're putting it off updating it in ECAS since our application is coming up soon anyway and they'll change it then. Idk. Should I e-mail them again?

I also emailed them a few days ago cause they need to udate my new name to my UCI...nothing have happend yet for me either :/

I e-mailed them again, w/ the exact message, except I added at the top "Hi! I emailed almost a month ago about my address change but haven't heard back and haven't seen it changed in ECAS yet, so I want to make sure it got through. Thank you."

Lol. Hope they change it this time!!!

If they do change it, where are you supposed to see the address change? Are you supposed to see it under "Permanent Residence Application Status"? I am asking because I requested address change for myself a while back (twice) and they haven't responded to me as of yet.

You see it in ECAS here, where I've blacked out our address information.

You have to use the principal applicants UCI# to see the address. If you use the sponsors UCI you will see their address.

You can use the application # also. It's on the SA paperwork.

Good point!!! I forget that I can log in with my F##### and my information to see my side of ECAS. I always log in thru the UCI/Sponsor information since it shows both parts. But sadly it isn't changed on my side either haha. :(

Thank you for this precious information! I used the app number and put my name and it showed my address (still showing the old one, but at least, now I know how to check it.)

How do I find out my UCI#? (I am the principal applicant). The email my spouse received has his (sponsor) UCI but it doesn't list mine and I don't know how to find my UCI#.

I got mine when I ordered my Notes... You can use the application # as well.

What do you mean by "notes" if I may ask?

Usually you don't know your (principal applicant) UCI, until you get some document directly to you (like visa, CoPR). Even the passport request e-mail quotes only the file number. If you want to check your side of ECAS, log in with the file number (starts with F.......) and your information (DOB etc), as previously mentioned.

You can order your application case notes. Meaning everything that has been done with your application since you applied. This is a video that shows how to do it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_E_dq_uLVo

All the links you need are in the "info" section of the video.

If you have a UCI from a previous application with CIC (students, work, visitor, IEC, etc) that will be your UCI for your PR app.
