I left my car's title in the states with all my paperwork, which was dumb, but im thinking I may just put my car on my b4, list of goods to follow, to deal with laterrr. I also plan to drive down and get my stuff before I come up to land so technically I think I can email the peace arch my title and itn# but they'd have to see it in person to stamp it. So I'd have to do the loop twice anyway haha. Once to land drivin up from Oregon and then another time to export and import my car.

Lol XD the appeal of putting off my car till after I land sounds lovely but I'm hoping my dad can find my title and just mail it to me. It's buried in all my files. But it'd be nice to do it all at once!

Just thinking out loud, I can't believe applicants from sept are getting approved! Fingers crossed.

WOW, thanks for the info, and its a lot of work but I have been reading up that the average Canadian pay 6,000 more for a car than in the states. I think I will export then import my car

Congratulations! I updated your line on the Ottawa spreadsheet too...or at least as much as I could. Some of the cells are locked and couldn't change the color on all of them.

Yep, still waiting.
I received request for further proof of common-law relationship (CIC received it on 16th April).

I'm really annoyed with Ottawa... They requested my marriage certificate last month.. I sent it in, even though it was sent in August when we first applied but then when it got sent to Ottawa they requested it again so I sent it. They then sent back TWO MARRIAGE CERTS after they said they received them. What the heck?! What's my best option, should I message them or call or what? I'm so pissed... I'm pretty sure this is the only hold up on my app.

Hmm I requested an address change thru CPC-Ottawa's email address April 15th and I still haven't seen it change in ECAS. I wonder if they're putting it off updating it in ECAS since our application is coming up soon anyway and they'll change it then. Idk. Should I e-mail them again?

I emailed a change of address around 8PM one night and it was changed in ECAS the next morning.

Yeah! My first address change was super fast. They even emailed me back a few hrs later. That's why I'm scratching my head lmao.

I e-mailed them again, w/ the exact message, except I added at the top "Hi! I emailed almost a month ago about my address change but haven't heard back and haven't seen it changed in ECAS yet, so I want to make sure it got through. Thank you."

Lol. Hope they change it this time!!!
