That's amazing, congratz!
That's some hope for me, I'm in July not June, but it's hope I'll hear something soon.

Mine's still waiting. Really getting frustrated. It's getting to the point where I almost wish I'd applied inland. It's taking about as long to hit every thing. My stage one took the same amount of time almost as an inland application. At least if I did an inland I'd have insurance and maybe a job by now. So frustrated. People who sent theirs three months after me are DM already. Guess hubby will have to call them AGAIN. I hate bugging them over and over but this is ridiculous. Sorry, vent over. I'm just o lost and frustrated. I'm not jealous of others but I don't know what the problem is.

I can identify with your frustration, but there is really nothing much you can really do , except keep sending emails of concern. If you look at my timeline you will see that I have one of the longest wait time ever for an Outland US applicant. I actually received passport request in October of 2013, which normally would mean that processing would finish within a few months. But that didn't happen, instead my file got sent to LA for some odd reason (we believe it was administive error because they never could explain why). I was unaware of the file transfer until I received my electronic notes in late March of 2014.
I finally got " decision made" just last weekend ,20 months since filing my application !! And I am still waiting for my COPR.

Inland stage 1 is now at 15+ months (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp) and climbing so even if you had applied Inland you would be 6+ months away from getting an open work permit (and insurance). Inland has turned out to be one of the worst options this year - they're working on August 2013 applicants for phase 1!

Thankfully, Harper has been doing his best to improve wait times. Unfortunately, Harper is doing his best to improve wait times.

I honestly have no idea what the problem is, do I have to be annoying and mean to get any results here? It seems like they sit there and go 'well this one hasn't annoyed me every five minutes for information so I'll put hers to the bottom because I want the others out of my hair'. I might be paranoid at this point but 4 months for SA on an outland in Ottawa is ridiculous. I sent the requested forms (CSQ, son's birth certificate as he was born in the middle of the process but Ottawa was notified at the beginning of the process) a month ago and they made it sound like they'd decide on things if they didn't receive them by 11/9. They said 'we will make a decision on the information we have by that date and we may or may not reject your application but you can appeal the decision'. So not sure if I should get frustrated. I don't feel I'm getting due process but I also don't want to be a 'troublemaker' so they say no. Not sure how to proceed at all. Probably going to ask for GCMS notes but not sure who's UCI to use or what to request as I have SA so my hubby's sponsorship has been approved but I want to check on my stuff. Do I use my name and UCI? But then my hubby would need to say he's applying on my behalf but a Canadian citizen needs to be applying. It's so confusing and I feel really dumb. Sorry guys I just have no idea what to do as I hoped it wouldn't come to this.

Your side info says your PPR was on 08/26/14, they requested your PPR in August and didn't start processing until last Tuesday? Is that correct?

BTW - Congrats :)

I am sorry this is happening to you.

You can request your PR application notes using your Application number the F1234874829 etc... You can use your husband's name as the person requesting. There is a consent form to sign (by you giving your husband permission to request your information). The online form to fill out is self explanatory. Here is a video showing the process.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_E_dq_uLVo&feature=youtu.be

the video info has all the links you need to request and for the consent form.

Thank you!

Right. They requested 1 additional doc PLUS passport in Aug, got IN PROCESS last Tuesday, and DECISION MADE yesterday!

Weird timeline haha.

Do people generally update the spreadsheet?

Seems like the last batch of visa issuance took about 100-120 days from application submission. Coming up on that time range (submitted August) and still stuck at sponsorship approval, along with a bunch of people above us on the spreadsheet, it looks like.

I was wonderingn the same thing

I follow this thread as well as the monthly thread pretty regularly.

It seems to me Ottawa has come to a screeching halt. It looks to be stuck on Mid-June approvals and I haven't really heard of anyone getting approved lately, other than a few on this thread who had applications in earlier in the year.
