She's here on a NAFTA work permit, and we also sent in a photocopy of her passport - so I'm assuming all is good in the PPR department?

Oh probably It seems a lot of Ottawa applicants have been going right to DM/COPR received without a PPR. Congrats again!

I have been following this thread for several months for now. Is there any reason that the April/ May/ June 2013 applicants has not got their COPR yet, but even the september 2013 applicants has got theirs thru ? Would it be that April/ May/ June 2013 applicants have got something wrong with their applications and so the CIC is delaying their files ?

[or]

they have misplaced all the April/ May/ June 2013 applications and Would we need to remind the CIC officers very politely ?

Please advise.

I sent my app at the end of May, and it was received in June 2013. I'm still waiting for updates. The latest update I got was "medical results have been received" in December.

My husband's status on ECAS just changed to "Processing". It looks like they started processing it on March 13th. Any idea how long it will be before he gets his PPR or COPR?

Just got my confirmation of permanent residence in the mail today!
No PPR, just straight to decision made and COPR.

Are you "common law" or did you get married? Seems that it takes longer for the common-law applicants. They have to show lots of proof to substantiate that the relationship is real and get scrutinized much more than us married folks do...

All - Does anyone know the reasons for CPP-OTTAWA office transferring the files to LA office after sitting on that for more than 10 months ? Also, there seems to be no intimation on that at all.

Yes, I saw one case from this thread. A Nigerian woman work in the U.S. with a work visa. She filed her application to Ottawa in 2012. After almost 10-12 months, she saw no progress and made contact to the Ottawa office. Then she was told her application had transferred to LA. She didn't get any kind of notice when her app was transferred.

Just recently, I think last month, she got PPR.

So, you never know.

Oh, I forgot to mention that she was requested an interview. I think that might be the reason her file was transferred to LA.
