Ha yes, I am very grateful it did. I just realized that I don't have my submission date on my signature: my Stage 1 actually took 120 days so my overall time is closer to average :)

Glad it was somehow compensated :) congratulations!!

Somebody got sponsorship approval in 6 days???

I saw this too, I actually have a hard time believing this, I have a feeling it's a typo or something and the person who entered it just hasn't noticed. I could be completely wrong but I just don't see how CIC could have possibly been that fast.

So darn lucky!! I couldn't believe it either but these days CIC has been approving sponsors really fast. I can only imagine what December will be like. Too bad they aren't doing that for Stage 2.

:D :D Pretty excited here! My wife received her CoPR today!!! She'll be landing tomorrow!! Three weeks away from the birth of our child and she'll be a PR beforehand, couldn't be happier!! :D :D

Question: It doesn't indicate anywhere on the CoPR or accompanying paperwork that she must bring any photos. We'd supplied photos with the application itself, and one has been applied to her CoPR. Does anyone know, must she bring more to land?

Yayyy congrats! =D

I'm not sure about the photos, but I'm sure someone here will be able to clear it up for you =) Don't worry! You're all done now.

Oh ahem,I'm bad at math, how long did it the whole process take for you, including Stage 1?

Congratulations BackCountry! That's great news to hear for you and your wife, especially with a little one on it's way!

Today my husband received a request for passport copies from CPP-Ottawa; he will send them tonight or tomorrow morning. Do we have a basic timeline for when a COPR will be issued? I've seen from these forums that it ends up taking several weeks (or months). Is this still supposed to be within that "ten" month timeline posted on the website? I'm visiting him for Christmas, I would love to bring him back with me for the new year!

From start to finish, stages 1 and 2 combined, was 8 months, 13 days! And stage 1 was 3 months, so stage 2 was incredibly quick! Only a little more than a week from PPR to CoPR arrival!

So freaking awesome! Congratulations again!

I just tried to change the colour of my line on the spreadsheet, but can't seem to do so in the final few bars without hiding the number of days, etc. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

You changed the text color (not "colour" until my family lands!) to purple, so when you changed the shading to purple, the purple text disappeared. I fixed it for you.

Congratulations!

51 names on the spreadsheet. Anyone whose application has gone to Ottawa please add your information to the spreadsheet. It will give us a more accurate idea of the timelines. :)

Hello. I'm just wondering if I should contact CIC or not. Got sponsor approval on 9th July but I haven't heard anything from them and I can even never check my status online.... now I'm just so worried:(
