Theres a few who landed before me around here they just didn't add themselves to the spreadsheet yet :P and TY it really felt good and now that I got all the running out of they way (Health card, SIN) I have started on the serious stuff, finding a job! I don't even care if it's a survivor job for now I have to get out of this house I feel like I been boxed up to 7 months, maybe a seasonal job with Christmas approaching! Good Luck to the rest of you it will happen very quickly!

Sweet!! I didn't know creampop landed already! I'm digging this spreadsheet... :D
I landed Black Friday! It just worked out perfectly I soooo wanted to go shopping so we did! ;D :P :-*

My wife sent her RCMP clearance letter (that arrived quickly, only 3 days from when she had her fingerprints done electronically) and a copy of her passport yesterday. C'mon COPR!! :D

LOL @ Creampop.....cross border shopping already :D

We need to keep reminding the April/May/June/July etc people to add their info to the spreadsheet so we see more green and yellow :D

I just added a few columns, hopefully providing more useful information about processing times than just the raw data:

a) a column showing the amount of time from Sponsorship Approval to Passport Request
b) a column showing the amount of time from Passport Request to Visa Issuance
c) a column showing the amount of time from Receipt of Application by CIC to Visa Issuance (total processing time). I didn't include Landing because that's up to the applicant.

Hopefully I didn't screw up any of the data while doing that, but I think I got it right...

Looks good IvanP.
Thanks for cleaning things up.

33 names on the spreadsheet now. Looking good.

Looks great! I see you changed it back to being sorted by app received date, it was causing some confusion for people who didn't have their sponsorship approval yet, it seemed.

It's nice to see how quickly sponsorship approvals are coming through. I'm so happy that there is an Ottawa only spreadsheet, it's hard to make comparisons in the monthly sheets when everyone has different visa offices with significantly different processing times.

Now for goodness sake... where is my PPR!!! AAACK!

Sigh...

36 names on the spreadsheet. Thought I would bump this up so others could see it and add their information.

I'm so glad this was put together for future applicants! My line is messing up the averages though- I must have sent my application on the wrong day: 120 days for sponsorship approval! I would say that I was on the top of the pile, but my PPR wasn't exactly the last step as I am still waiting...

Sponsorship approval may have taken forever but the PPR was very quick once you got sponsorship approval.

It did! So I bring up one average and bring down the other. ;)

Still no visa though, so PPR to visa is not a short time at CCP-Ottawa.

So, if our visa office is CPP-Ottawa, we need to courier our passports from abroad to Ottawa to get the visas, correct?

If you are a U.S. citizen, you only need to submit a copy of your passport bio page and any other pages that contain pertinent information. They then mail you the form you need to land by mail.

(Or supposedly they do, I submitted my PP copy Oct. 20 and am still waiting...)

Note that OB 481, which authorizes CPP-O to issue COPRs, wasn't published until 21 November. That might explain why people are only just starting to get their COPRs from CPP-O.
