So, we just received an email from CPP Ottawa stating that the PCC we had done through a channeler is not valid :( Even though, I called CIC to verify it is acceptable to go through a channeler. We sent this in back in Feb 2012 to the Buffalo consulate. As it closed, our file was transferred to Ottawa and just got word today. I have the standard 60 days to get this sent. Does anyone have any rough idea how long it could possibly take for them to review this new FBI original PCC after the 60 days are up? Thanks for any help you can offer...it is greatly appreciated!

Several people have had the same experience. It generally takes 6-8 weeks to get a new FBI PCC and then it will likely be 1-2 months after that before Ottawa will get back to your file.

I made a CPP-Ottawa spreadsheet based on the September 2012 spreadsheet.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AieZfLOxQt2FdDgzNTFmc2E2bjJjVUhGVlhPMEcwbWc

I've set the document to "anyone can edit" so feel free to add yourselves or suggest changes!

Yayy thanks for creating this! I have added myself =)

I also fixed the colors for the people who have gotten their PPRs because it was bothering me that they were still white haha

how about washroom vs restroom (I say bathroom and I feel like a weirdo in Canada)

LOL....don't feel weird. I use the word bathroom too. Another one is "beauty shop & hairdresser".
My spouse calls it the beauty shop all the time and I feel like I am back in the 50's....lol

By the way I checked the CPP - Ottawa spreadsheet and I love seeing those green lines on there :D

This one drives me crazy! haha I refuse to call it washroom but I slowly feel myself starting to do it on accident more and more.

I love the green lines too... I would love them more if MY line was green too.

Does anyone else have the supper/dinner dilemma? I asked my husband what he wanted for dinner, he said he'd grab something. I was so concerned that he didn't want me to make him something. He kindly reminded me that dinner is his mid-day meal... which I call lunch.

I haven't found any differences with breakfast, lunch and dinner so far. That's cute though.

Yup...I hear ya !!

The other one was Thanksgiving Dinner which in my family is at 5 pm on either the Saturday or Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Last week to celebrate the US Thanksgiving we had dinner at 1 pm on Thursday. It was nice to be finished to watch football but all I felt like doing was taking a nap after such a big meal ;D

I was on the plane the day before Thanksgiving and the pilot said: "Have a great Thanksgiving..." and it turns out most of the passengers were Canadians, they laughed and said "We had ours a month ago!!"

No problem, it was only 2 lines that were missing the green. =)

Agreed! Though, if you look at the May(and April!) spreadsheet there does seem to be some movement going as of recent, I'm assuming these people just don't know about the Ottawa spreadsheet yet.

I'm kinda burned out on turkey now and I can't believe in just about a month it will be turkey time again :o

Maybe we need to post on the April and May threads and let them know. I think I posted on the August thread but I could do it again to give people a nudge.

Okay. I put messages on April, May, June and July threads about the CPP - Ottawa spreadsheet. Hopefully we will get more additions. It really helps to see the timelines IMHO

yay and the Ottawa spreadsheet is by my signature now :D
