That doesn't make me feel any better....

How do you know when the COPR has been mailed out?
I don't think my address in ECAS will change because I am using an attorney.
My status changed to decision made on the 28th, but we haven't heard anything since then... Waiting for the attorney to get the COPR so that we can book plane tickets and the like.

I was told by CIC when I contacted them

Got PR card in the mail today - ending my epic 7 year journey to PR status. For those who just landed recently, don't book any (air) travel just yet, the 67 days their quoting for first time PR cards isn't too accurate.

Best of luck all!

Grr...
Calling the only number that CIC has gives me NO information. When I email Ottawa, I am told that they cannot speak to me because I have an attorney. When my attorney (supposedly; I have my doubts) emailed, she got no response at all.

I'd ask your attorney for proof of email...also make sure that she's providing them with the info that they require, or else they won't release any info to her

It's ridiculous - I don't know why a few of the applications just get shunted to the back of the queue, and then they refuse to communicate. Hopefully GCMS notes (which should come any day now) will shed some light on what is (or is not) going on.

They also asked me for proof of financial support. I guess this a new permanent thing.
