Your file was always at Ottawa, it never got transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa after Buffalo announced it is closing down. Its not the same scenario!

Hi Applefanboy. First of all congratulations on you PPR, it's really good news for you and for people that are waiting for their PPR from Ottawa. You said an interesting piece of information that your ECAS still only shows Application Received. So you never actually got the IN PROCESS line? Your application was received in January, could you specify the date? Have you requested your GCMS notes during your process and what did they say? Thanks for your info, it gives hope to us all!

I would like to open a new thread so you can share your timeline after Buffalo office closing. This is for the applicants whom theirs application was in process in Buffalo and got transferred to Ottawa. It seems our files are on hold!
1. Timeline:
- Immigration stream?
- File received Buffalo?
- Medical Sent?
- Date when E-case is "In Process"?
- PPR Received from Ottawa?
- Passport sent to ?
- Passport received from?
2. Comment:
- Documents request?

Feb 2012 - Got email from CPP-OTTAWA and ME request
Feb 2012 - ME done.
March 2012 - CIC website: Application Received and ME received
August 2012 - PPR
