Hey guys, I don't want to excite everyone and I am also being calm about this but I also received my PPR today. But I want to ask some you more wiser folks on here. Because I kept reading people on here saying that your passport should be valid for about one year when they send you the PPR, I also applied for a new passport in March, so my old one was cancelled by the officer at my country's Embassy. But both passports were returned to me by the Embassy.

So I just need your advice on this. I am going to send my both my passports to the Consulate in Seattle, but should I include a letter with my mail, explaining the reason why my other passport was cancelled? I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.

What was your timeline? which category do you belong to? When exactly did you get your PPR?

Hi Guys,

Is Ottawa office closed or still working? I knew the phase 2 should be finished by April 2012, and my application was forwarded back to Buffalo, so I wonder if they completed the application because it is completed or because they are closed.

Let me know if anyone heard from ottawa recently.

I'm a FSW applicant but my application has been transferred to CPP-O due to security reasons in cairo, but I just received an e-mail from them today, so don't worry its still working
And I hope u hear good news soon from them.

I'm a provincial applicant , I was transferred to CPP-O , how did you know the reason ? the visa office is working normally.
Any clues about the timeline of CPP-O?
Finally I found someone from Egypt at CPP-O

I am egyptian too, but I live in Canada, so I keep telling myself maybe because the situation in Cairo it takes longer time in the security check. But I already have done the medical in December, and some say they do the security check before the medical not after.

What was today's email was about if I may ask? was it from Ottawa?

Today's e-mail was about my PCC from saudi Arabia as I lived there, and by the time I sent my application it wasn't issued yet, so CPP-O was requesting this document and thank god that I applied for it in last september and I received it in March as they want it within 45 days and it took me 6 months to get it

By the way in which province do u live?

Yes its nice to know that u r egyptian too, they told me in an e-mail that my file has been transferred to CPP-O for security reasons and further processing will be in Ottawa not in Cairo as it used to be
