Sorry to hear you have been waiting for 6 years, by the way they are planning to refund the fees and return almost all the applications for those who applied before 27 Feb 2008, when decided you can withdraw yours and re-apply under the current criteria.

They will not cancel my file, I applied as self employed, they sent my file to Ankara (I am Lebanese so why Ankara? why not Lebanon?) after Damascus closed. I e-mailed them 3 times in the last 3 months and no response. seems it will sleep for another 6 years. I will cancel it as soon as I can and ask for a refund and apply again.
to cancel it do I send a letter or by e-mail?
I wish they cancelled it by themselves and sent me a refund like they will do with the skilled worker applicants. then I know where I stand.

I just sent them an e-mail asking them to cancel my application. in the last 6 years I never thougth I would ever do that.

Hey guys. This a question for those of you who landed in Saskatoon.

Well, On Wednesday I called the 1-888 number to make an appointment to land at the Saskatoon CIC office. The operator asked me some question and took down the information and said that it had been sent to the office in Saskatoon, and that they would contact me to set an appointment. So far the Saskatoon office has not called me yet. So I want to know if any of you had this problem. How long does it take for them to call you to come in to complete the landing process? I would appreciate your help guys.

I live just two blocks from this office, but I don't know if they will let me walk in to complete the landing.

Feb 2012 - Got email from CPP-OTTAWA and ME request
Feb 2012 - ME done.
March 2012 - CIC website: Application Received and ME received

No further updates so far.

A question: Most of my friends got email and ME request after 3-6 months they were nominated by NB. But in my case, it only took me 1.5 months. In the email I got in Feb 2012, CIC told me it averagely takes 10 months to process the application from now. Is it normal?

Buffalo just closed so they transferring files to other offices
just on my ecas now is showing my mailing adress since yesterday thats all.

Thanks for your response. My address is showing in my e-cas also. Hope this means we ll get ppr soon. Let's keep on praying and have faith.

We have the same timeline! Lots of processes have changed. If you noticed in the AOR received, there is a note saying if you don't hear from us 120 days from this letter, contact us. I hope that means it will be processed by then. In that case we might get PPR be end of June! :
