To those of you who became Permanent Residence within the last six months, did you automatically received your PR card after you landed or do you have to apply for it are you've landed?

the weard thing is, they sent me email on Dec says they received mine and i'm the principal applicant, they were waiting for my wife's ( ours were sent in the same envelop)
Now, 2 months past, my ecas still does say "medical received". drive me nuts.

By the way, the address shows both the residential and mailing now, how about yours?

You'll receive your ppr soon i bet. I figured out what happened to my " medical received", my practiener called the cic, cic says my wife need to do another x-ray. we all so angry about this, we didn't receive any email or mail to inform us about this. has been 2 and half months past, we were waiting for nothing. I even sent 2 emails to cic ottawa in this 2 months, no reply. god, how come they can be irresponsible like this?

I just got an email from ottawa saying that I'll hear from the buffallo office shortly within a few weeks regarding the finalization of my applicatiion. Can't wait.....

Any updates? Did anyone receive PPR after nflcanada?
it appears to me that the CPP ottawa is processing the cases and sending it back to buffalo for finalization. The sad part is that when a case goes to buffalo it's processing slows down

Mine was sent to New York office and got processed extremely quickly. Seems like Ottawa and NY are the office sequence to go!
