I think they are giving priority to the application received in 2021 as they need to coverup their application completion ratio for this year. They don’t care for the ones who are waiting since January 2020. They are not giving importance to the appcations which are already delayed as these applications will no longer improve their efficiency rate.

Yeah, this seems very likely. That, or they just don't have a good enough system or manpower that can somewhat sort and deal with applications in chronological order.

I can only imagine it's like having 1000 e-mails coming into your inbox a day while you have 500 from yesterday, and 500 more from the day before, and 10000 more from the days before that that you haven't gone through. It's likely just pure chaos and some officers just decide have to process cases at random to deal with this as there is no other choice.

Hi All,

I received my eCOPR on June 4, 2021 but the landing details i.e. Last entry date and original entry date are incorrect.

How do I get these corrected? In the PR confirmation portal from where i downloaded the eCOPR it is mentioned that i need to contact IRCC incase of any discrepancies in the document but there is no mention of the procedure to do it. Can some please help me here.

@legalfalcon your inputs would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Usually these dates do not matter and are based on what IRCC was able locate in their database and your inputs. However, if you want to make any amendments to a PR document, you can either contact IRCC via webform, or you can use the process described at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/request-amend-record-landing-confirmation-permanent-residence-valid-temporary-resident-documents.html

I can understand your feeling buddy, but congratulations and finally you got it this is good. I am also waiting for 1 year now with just eligibility recommended pass, so feel like if I won't get it soon I'll go back home and will never come to this country again.
