Hi all! I fall under NOC 5131 (television Producer) and my CRS score is 378 (even with good IELTS score). SO finally I decided to apply through PNP but no province can help me with 5131 code. I love Saskatchewan but my NOC code 5131 is excluded in their demand skill list. BUT my duties as a 5131 are about 75-80% similar to Administrator 1221 code. Do you all think if I apply through 1221 code my application will get rejected? Also in the employer reference letter they have mentioned that I worked as a television producer (5131) in the company but with 1221 similar duties. Please someone advice me on this (if I can apply for SINP using NOC 1221?)

You can apply using 1221 for SINP if you have the roles and responsibilities letter matches your NOC roles to the point atleast 70%. Designation doesnt matter a lot when you can prove the tasks you performed at your company. In rare cases, saskatchewan officers had requested for a detailed/descriptive work reference letter. If you can arrange this, you are well and good.
