One of my friend can apply for permanent residency in Canada now but in the application he couldnot validate one application form as his spouse travel document is expired and it might take few months to get a new one. Now he is in a fix. He called call centre CIC and the customer executive advised him to print the form and write the expired date and send a cover letter to explain for the same. But he is not confirming that the application might be accepted or not.. If anyone has experience the same or know from someone , please shed some light on this .. I would really appreciate it..
