sbg92, looking at the response time for Minis, provided she did not receive an RQ, I guess its going to be approximately 4 months for everyone else.
Not sure how long does it take to check 15 questions!lol
And I thought living in the GTA would have its perks, like, CIC scheduling more Ceremonies, I guess that aint happening, is it?lol

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 8, 2011.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 8, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We started processing your application on January 25, 2012.
We sent you a notice on February 29, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Its really strange that CIC has not updated any new ceremony dates for mississauga after July 4th 2012.

so it took you 14 LONG weeks to get a response from CIC, ridiculous!
so looking at your timeline, since i took the test on May 10, i should be getting a response from CIC sometime around August 21 to attend the ceremony sometime in September, provided there are no further delays of any sort. This is just insane.

Please notice that, from June 1st, three CIC offices were shut down and the citizenship files were transferred to Mississauga that has now a 4x workload!

I don't think we can count on this 4 months waiting since the backlog is exponential. It will take much longer unfortunately. But I hope I am wrong
