I am planning to send my child aboard to live and study with his grandparents (not Canadian). Can I get CCB for that period?

Child must be in Canada. Whole point is to raise child in Canada.

Temporary permit holders are eligible to start receiving CCB after 18 months because they only qualify after 18 months there would never be retroactive payments.
