So you are on a work permit? What is your family income?Hi, please I have just filled for CCB for my child after I have completed the 18months stay , but there is an error message I got like the BPO 503 code, please what does that mean, I hope I am still going to have the benefits paid, please if you have had this experience, kindly advise. Thank you
No.TO apply for CCB, a Temporary resident has to file if he/ she resides in Canada for 18 months. I want to know should we also get CCB lum sum payment of last 18 months?

Hi, Did you receive the CCB? and did you had to provide any proof for the income you received outside of Canada?Hey Guys,
I applied for child benefit while registering for my son online. I received a letter from CRA asking me to provide the missing information. In the letter, on the last income section, it says "In the last TWO years, if you and your spouse became a resident of Canada......complete the following information for a period before entering Canada".
I am trying to submit the form online; however the online form looks different than the one I was mailed and there is
is nothing on the online form that says in the last TWO years in the income information. Now I am confused if the income information is only required if I became resident in the last TWO years.
Me and my spouse became resident in 2018 and it is already more than 2 years. Do we still need to report income for the year of 2017 and 2016?
Please advise.
Hi,
I would appreciate it if someone could assist me with my query.
We arrived in Canada in August 2023 as temporary residents. We became eligible for the Canada Child Benefit in February 2025 and applied for it. However, we received a response stating that we are not eligible for the benefit from March to June because we did not provide proof of our income outside Canada for the period of January to July 2023.
My question is: do we need to file a tax return in our home country for that year, or would providing pay stubs be sufficient to show our income there?
