Dude i already sent such letter to the Canadian immigration here in Quebec our community here helped me to convince canadian immigration audit in Pakistan all i got was a negative and reply they ask to get 150 people to sign a petition even after getting 150 people sign it the petition was refuse and the city mayor said he didn't have time for it but Again if i failed maybe inshallah you will make a difference..

Hello People,
I am new here,didnt know something like this exist. I applied for my husband in January 2009,went back to Pakistan thinking that since i am a canadian citizen it wont make any difference .To my surprise i received a rejection letter in August 2009 stating that the imm officer is not convinced that i'll be coming back to canada once my husband gets his PR.I flew back to canada in September and submitted all i could to prove that we want to settle here once my husband gets the stamp.We submitted the criminal and medical all over again in Dec 2009. I have been living here since then and still there seems no hope.
I have drafted many letters like the one above .Trust me i feel i made a mistake by writing them. The embassy no matter what you do will take its due time. I have friends who applied before me and are still waiting.
By reading the posts on this forum i see many in the same boat as i am and i dont mean to discourage anyone here but we might have to wait more before we reunite with our loved ones.We have to accept the fact that Pakistan is a war zone and in the last e mail they sent me they were very clear to mention that these are unusual times and cases might get delayed for a longer period of time...................

You had an interview before rejection of your application? how they knew you were not living in Canada? when did you receive their last email? stating about unusual times and delays in cases? can you share your time line with us?

Since then have drafted atleast 10 mails to imm minister here,MP has sent atleast half a dozen queries and i have written Isb almost on a bimonthly basis.

The bottom line is that imm Canada will not notice such petty letters .I have received a reply for atleast 3 letters i wrote them ie imm minister.They have said that Pakistan is a war zone and these are unusal circumstances and that they have to be very sure specialy in husband cases thats why a thorogh background check is underway which might take some time as they are dependant on external agencies to respond.External agencies in Pakistan as we all know usually works on a mood basis.

I can send you a thousand websites and copy paste templates for all the different kinds of letters you can write to the Minister but its better you give it some more time and get busy doing something else.Its been 21 months for me and my husband is an EVP for a major bank in Pakistan with no criminal record or military background.

Thanks for details.. but I am surprised how could they reject applicatiion without any interview or without any correspondance.. did you have any correspondance with CHC ISB between 20 March 2009 till 18 August 2009? I wonder how they can take decision like this? you should have informed them or sent them letters or proofs that you are staying in Pakistan with your husband since you got married... is it the case?

you seem to be in a similer situation. They know where we are .We are so naive to think that they dont know. I didnt have any interview and no letter was sent to me during that time .

I was just reading some of the posts here and am SO SURPRISED that one kid is writing that he has contacts in the embassy to push his file . I dont have words to describe such immature act. This forum like anyother is monitored .I dont think i need to say more.

I am also big time upset with our local pakistani directly or indirectly political's leader. including big OLMA for various islamic centers and big business/industry owners [including PKSTNI immigration lawyers]and on top of that local pakistani media [radio "Moin Jamal - Arshad Bhati and some TV show on weekend].They never stand up for the community upfront at Governtment to express the community problems or atleast I have never seen any such thing.

Solution For:

Politics Leader's > Instead of attending & perforimng the grand opening for a restuarent and making proud on your name as a leader and unfortunatly same backhome thinking to becom a famous personality [curruption not allowed in Canada];INFACT listen community problems,analys them with other leader and present the case to your appropriate party leader.

BIG ISLAMIC CENTER OLMA'S KARAM > I understand that the main duties are to perform the jamat & teaching Quran;BUT when there are large amount of muslims peoples as a community in a country THEY should analys the community problem from religious point of view togather and present the ISLAMIC solution to the goverentment [Incase of sponsership why dont they just explain to Governtment that muslims are not allowed to leave seprate for this much no..... of day with out wife permission/intention.otherwise Govt should compensate 50% for travel ticket to visit husband/wifes evey six month.

BUSINESS/INDUSTRY OWNERS & IMMIGRATION FIRMS > Instead of spending your day & night in making $ and thinking 1MILN to 2 MILN whereas it is for sure known everything will be taken out upon death:INFACT take some time out as a PKSTNI BUSINESS ASSOCIATION and write a letter to governtment saying that being in business you are contributing in canada economy,creating job,and filling tax.Our community is facing this problem and we need solution.This is the khair which you will be rewarded at the day of judgment not your $$.

FOR MEDIA > Media play a big role in these days, unfortunatly our radio media representative ARSHAD BHATI & MOIN JAMAL have no time other than to advertise grand opening of a restaurent and real estate [Further Moin Jamal come's up with music idea] to earn commision on the ad's.
INFACT they should reserve 1 day for public, choose any given topic and open the line for public to listen public problem/opinion/advice on that choosen topic.

I slought Punjabi sikh community who's leaders from above catagories support each others and as a community they put influance on governtment to have their problems solved.

As a PKSTNI nation/community , being a Muslim have we ever think or did some think about above.

@lostgal 786 --- Seems like ur exactly in the same situation as i am. I was also living in Pakistan when i recieved a letter that i have to convince the embassy that i am going to resettle in canada. I just want to correct u on one thing.. That is not a rejection letter that is an Objection letter. There is a huge difference between the two. When a case is rejected u have to file an appeal and lead the case in a different way on the other hand when there is an objection u have to provide the embassy with the proof that u will be resettling in Canada and if then they process ur case further means that objection has been removed. My Objection came in Oct 2009 and ever since then i am here ... did the remedical and police certificate... still no news from anywhere...

Ur situation is not very encouraging.. i wonder if at this point in time i go back to Pakistan would that be ok? I have already lived here long enough and i have a 2 yr old daughter who is also a canadian citizen living with my hubby... i have not seen her for almost a yr now. Background checks might take a full yr... its not possible to stay without your family for so long, and how can the embassy even expect that from us.

You should submit your marriage certificate, domestic partnership registration, joint house ownership/apartment lease, joint mortgage statement, joint bank account statement, joint credit card statement, joint phone and utility bills, joint recreational memberships, joint health insurance, life insurance, Will, Power of Attorney, pictures, letters from your family and friends stating the relationship, proof of taking trips together such as boarding passes, phone records, emails, etc. Please keep in mind that each and every relationship is unique and different, so you may not have everything that is listed above, but you may have other documents that are equally appropriate for documenting your relationship

lol...they are done withthe checking of the geniuness of my realtionship...khair my file was prepared by a lawyer n i was never asked additional documents ...they just contacted me once to send the updated pcc....in april thts it....
