Change visa condition ???

Hi guys,

I just got my PGWP and would like to change my visa from student visa to work visa. I am wondering which link should I use to do my application
Is it this one :

Hi Tiffany,

I'm a little confused by your question. PGWP = Post graduate work permit. This allows you to lawfully work in Canada, so you don't need to do anything more!

If you got this backwards and would like to change your work permit to a study permit, follow the instructions here:

cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp [add the www]

One other thing I want to clarify is the difference between a permit and a visa. The permit gives you the right to either study or work, not to travel in and out of Canada [if you are not from a visa exempt country]. The travel visa [TRV] is a separate thing that has a separate application process - this document only allows travel, so it doesn't give you the right to study/work.

Hi here,

Thank you for your input. So my current TRV deadline is the same with my student permit (which is till July 2015). Now I have a PGWP which is not expired till 2017. However, in case I need to travel somewhere outside Canada, I need to change my visa from student visa to work visa and extend the expiration day to 2017.

I hope this is more clear so you can help me.
