Re: Confirmation of Employment

To whom it may concern:
The intent of this letter is to confirm in writing the full-time permanent employment of M with XC from June 1, 2020 until the present. M had taken a leave of absence from October 9, 2020 to November 25, 2020 and December 22, 2020 to January 2, 2021 due to health reasons.
M accrues vacation at 4% up to 10 days annually. He also receives full company benefits including life insurance, health and dental insurance, short and long term disability and has access to participate in our RRSP contribution program.

From June 1, 2020 to March 20, 2021, he held the position of Technical Support Specialist – (Noc Code – 2282) within Customer Care team in Cornwall, Ontario. He earned an hourly salary of $X(paid on the 15th and last day of each month) and was scheduled for 40 hours per week.

As of March 22, 2021 until present, M holds the position of Technical Support Specialist - Overnights (NOC code – 2282) within our Customer Care team in Cornwall, Ontario. He earns an hourly salary of $Y (paid on the 15th and last day of each month) and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

The following are his duties and responsibilities for both positions:
 Providing technical support to customers with concerns related to internet/network connectivity, email, router, home phone and internet security
 Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to help customers reach resolution.
 Train end users in response to identified difficulties that they are having.
 Collect, organize and maintain a Problems and Solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
 Liaise with internal departments to investigate and escalate technical issues as appropriate, including Channel Support and Network Operations
 Maintain extensive knowledge of Xplornet products and staying current on relative technology advancements

so they released the application guide today.
Apparently i need to submit he medical with the application or with a date close to the date of application.

first of, the cap is 40, 000

Is my spot counted if I can open an account, or only If I have clicked the submit button with all the documents?
my concern is I wont be able to do my medical by tomorrow, will need at least 2 or 3 days more.

it does say if unable to complete medical, I can just put in the name and date of appointment, if that's the case, can I update my application after getting the medical form?

another question is about counting the years of education, my undergrad was for 4 years but it took me abt 7 years to complete, so it should be 7 for that?

@NOC98 For regular express entry, even if you lose you r job AFTER application, it wouldn't matter, BUT this wont be the case for this time, would it? Since requirement was "currently employed"?

I don’t get your question. For EE, if you quit after AOR, that’s fine in general as the points you claimed for work experience experience is already completed / earned as indicated in your reference letter. But if you have job offer points claimed from a closed work permit, then you’re obligated to stay until you receive your PR. If you quit while your PR is in progress, you’ll be no longer eligible for the job offer points. You’ll have to inform IRCC, then they’ll deduct 50 points, recalculate your CRS if it’s still above cut off. If not, then your app will be refused.
