Oh my god..sad news...they are not supposed to do it, please talk to your area MP....definitely they gonna help you

my application reached on 3rd oct. rprf done on 19th april.
I contacted my MP and his assistant got back today from CIC to me saying below :-

"The average processing time for this type of application is 24 months. Currently, the only thing outstanding on your application is for your criminal check to be done. Everything else has passed. After your criminal check is finished the application will move to the finalization.

I was told that if you do not hear a response from the CIC by the end of October to get back in touch with me and I will do another inquiry on your behalf."

Never has patience been tested so brutally....

Thanks! Yes, I received the email June 10th.

Surely when you applied I bet you thought the process would have been completed within 1-year max... A few more days to go, the end is near. ;D ;D ;D

Hi, could please disclose when you filed your application, and AOR ? Mine was Oct 21st and Feb 27th cic started working? Whats your timeline. The reason is, I am principle applicant ansd my wife was added later. How long it took you to get passport request ?

I know I must take Passport, driver license as proof of address, COPR , anything else???

NEED ADVISE.... October 12th applicant

I did landing two days ago at the rainbow bridge in Niagra falls and applied to get my PR card. the card takes 2 months as per cic website.

But I need to travel in one week for work and per the website, I can't come back to Canada by air if i am a PR unless I am carrying a PR card or temp travel document. But by land, I can show the Landing document I have and the officer at the boarder can verify my PR status and let me enter the country. Correct me if I am wrong?

So i am thinking to change my flight for the return leg, and come back to Buffalo airport, take the bus from there to Toronto, and the officer at the boarder should be able to verify my status even if I am not carrying my PR card with me. would this work?

I already have a USA visa.

It's over ...finally received my COPR today. I want to thank everybody the last 21 months have been a nightmare but I appreciate everyone's help. I will continue to be here to help anyone

Do we need to write anything on our receipt before email it to CIC???? I mean information to identify myself??
