My friend I am really sorry and I didn't mean to offend anyone. It was a simple question and I simply answered. IMO not him or neither me has said anything wrong.

As far as keeping the discussion to old CEC only I agree and this is not the best place to discuss that but my friend this is also not the place to get offended on merely a simple question and vent out your frustration on others. I think we all are in the same boat and we all are mature enough that rather than getting offended and venting frustration we should collectively look for solutions.

No hard feelings at all and stay positive. Because I feel that life is more than Canadian PR.

@jfes2015: This questions pertains to old CEC applicants as to whether it's worth considering EE or stick with what we are stuck in. Vikrant (old CEC applicant) was considering EE and my question was, did he go with it and if so the issues if any.

In this forum, many people asked whether it is worthwhile considering EE option and if so, what are the issues if any having 2 applications (old CEC & EE) in the system. I think it's perfectly fair to share the experiences "having 2 applications in the system" in this forum - it may benefit to quite a few.

Friends - applied for my GCMS notes on 16 Dec 15 and they have generated on 18 Dec 15 which i received today.

No change / progress at all between my last notes in Aug and now.

Eligibility : (BLANK)
Security : Not started
Criminality : In progress
Medicals : Passed (upfront)

To my surprise i got am email from CIC today with subject as "Request for payment of RPRF". Details of the payment process has been mentioned in the email.

CEC Application filed: October 6th 2014
AOR: February 11th 2015
Medical: Not requested yet (I think an email will be coming soon)
RPRF: 18th Jan 2016

Are others getting this request?

Me as well. I just received RPRF email even though I have paid upfront when I sent the application. I am Oct 21 applicant. It seems lots of ppl are getting it even landed PR. It's probably just an error....

I just got the RPRF request too.. PR applied on 14th Oct 2014..

I have no medical request though, what does it mean?

I haven't... Well, I paid it upfront back in December 2015 (and I saw that they added it to my file as I requested a copy of my physical file by mistake). But still, I saw that even people who already paid it received it

I think it's just a mass request for everyone. Just like when they asked for RCMP record check.

How are they asking us for RPRF when we didn't even get medicals done. I think they're just short some cash lol
