you should have asked them to send it directly. they are extremely fast...

I am not sure why you asked them to send it to you..

I asked them to send the results directly. I even showed them the email I got from CIC. Police Officer said they will not send results directly to CIC. They will send the results to me and then I'm gonna mail to CIC.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE SAY HOW LONG DOES IT NORMALLY TAKES AFTER MEDICAL IS SUBMITTED TILL THE NEXT STEP??? AND WHAT THE NEXT STEP IS??? THANK YOU!!!

No one can predict the next step and how long they will take as far as CIC is concerned. It all depends on VO, your specific case and obviously your luck.

If your lucky enough, you could get RPRF & then Decision Made. On the other hand, CIC could request for additional documents and in worst case you can expect a call (To your employer) from CIC as well.

Same thing happened with me. I was expecting RPRF after medical, but CIC called my employer and also requested for RCMP yesterday. No doubt, this will delay the overall processing as well.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I went to RCMP branch yesterday and done with the finger-prints. RCMP, however, will send the results to me. Then, I will have to send the results and copy of their email to CIC via mail. RCMP will take somewhere from 1 week to 2 weeks to send the results to me.

RCMP Ottawa should be able to send it directly to CIC. I did it in RCMP Burnaby. That is what I was told.

Thats what I will do as soon as I get the results. I think it shouldn't make any difference whether RCMP or I send results to CIC.

The email from CIC to request the RCMP records said "The RCMP will send the results directly to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (CPC-O) within the processing time published on the RCMP’s website. ". When we scanned the fingerprints in RCMP local branch, the officer filled the CIC Ottawa's mailing address in the application form and said once RCMP Ottawa headquarter completes the check, they will forward the result to CIC directly per the address in the application form.

In my case, officer filled my residence address. So, the result will definitely come to me. Anyways, When did you get your RCMP done and have CIC received your result ?

Does medical received means we pass the medical? or we need to wait for another line that says medical passed?

Thanks:)
