CEC - August 2014 application

Hi There, we have been discussing this in this forum since last week, please review the previous posts. Even though CIC has sent the new rules, however they know that they have delayed processing of the 2014 CEC applications. They have been issuing BOWP only based on AOR. Two days back a member of our forum posted that he received his BOWP. There have been some rejections but every case is different.

We have been discussing same topic since last week and calling CIC and talking to our lawyers and finally we see some approvals based on only AOR. Please please read last weeks posts here. Other members might get confused and scared after reading this post again.

That post was for someone who doesn't know and I posted that when I saw a post here and someone thinks positive eligibility means just AOR which is not true anymore. On this forum I have seen few cases where BOWP got denied for that particular reason. Please Please read post carefully before quoting as it says" in case someone doesn't know". If you know, good for you and you don't have to worry about it. I have provided link to prove what I said. I really hope that they don't follow what they've written on that link as I am in the similar situation. I will share my opinion as everyone else. If you don't agree ignore it. Thanks

I have asked CIC and two different lawyers and they say : Even though CIC has issued that new rule, CIC knows that they are unable to process applications on time and none of the lawyer's clients have refusal yet because of the eligibility status. They said that CIC is issuing BOWP on AOR only. I just wanted everyone who reads the posts to be calm. Sorry if I came across in a wrong way.

I hope, most of our due date for eligibility, criminality and admissibility is breached.

Just Sharing my thoughts,,,,I see on the news Justin is welcoming Syrian Refugees with Toys,Jackets and lot more. Canada is helping out these people from core of the heart. I Hope they will treated the way the getting now in Next 4 to 5 years. They do not have to go through any kind of immigration Issue the way us CEC applicants are going through at this point. We are insanely ignored by Canadian Immigration , politics people. Take care guys.I hope next year will bring some good news for us too. Sit back and watch the news and expect no news about CEC backlogs.

Lol, and Syrian refugees reluctant to resettle in Canada immediately, there are thousands of CEC people are waiting from ages and there are refugees who don't want Canada and they want choices, IDK should I laugh or cry,

will you be able to share here, what did your lawyer ask in the emails ? maybe those emails from your lawyer forced them to take an action on your application.

In star news, the spokesperson told their goal is to complete 6000 backlog app in next 6 months on Nov 30,2015.

So as per that, all application will be completed in May 30, 2015.

which logically is 1000 applications per month. we cant see of any such more updates in this forum? will they complete it or there is any hidden political meaning for the statement given? your opinion seniors...

will you be able to share here, what did your lawyer ask in the emails ? maybe those emails from your lawyer forced them to take an action on your application.

The lawyer just tells me that they have a CIC registration number based on which when they question CIC , CIC is kind of obligated to answer, even then it took my lawyer 2- 2.5 months to push them and ask them to process the application. Unfortunately they dont disclose everythng they write to CIC else I wud be very happy to share.

I really hope so.. I guess this week will tell us about that
