CEC applicants share points for EE (w/o Job offer)

Yeah..thats what I mentioned in my other post. The first report, if they publish one, will clarify. Mostly, they keep it under three different sections.

I have master degree, meaning I have 4 years bachelor and 1 years masters degree.

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp I should get 25 or 50 points depending on my IELTS skills.
On their website when I choose that I have Masters degree they only give me 13 points.

Because if you have masters degree this should apply:

"Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer (levels 6,7 & 8)"

If you have master then I think you should choose Master's or Entry-to-practice professional degree

Level of Education counts. Masters get you 135 points.

University-level credential at the Master’s level OR an entry-to-practice professional degree. CIC only accepts as an entry-to-practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required. 135 points

That's correct kvn... Level of Education counts..

But Education in Canada doesn't count... i.e. Masters from Canada or Masters from any other part of the world will fetch you the same points..!!

Hope it clears the air....
 
I am sure..because if ur masters from outside canada is not verified by eca...i guess they will treat it differently...
