Hi everyone, I need help.
I have a working holiday visa and my work permit expires on October 7th. My PR application is still in process.
I need to apply for another work permit but I don't know if I should try a close or an open one. I get mixed answers from the IRCC website.

Criminality: Passed (passed on 04/26 as per the notes)
Medical: Passed (passed on 07/05 as per notes, online account displays same date)
Info Sharing: Complete (last update here as well is dated 04/26)
Primary VO: Etobicoke
Secondary VO: Centralized Intake Office
The R10 check was completed on 28th April. Later on, the file was transferred from Centralized Intake Office to Etobicoke on 17th May 2021.

It seems after the file transfer to Etobicoke on 05/17, there is no movement except the medicals which got passed on 07/05.

Exactly same timeline and application status except my VO is Vancouver

It says this for credentials “New credentials for PR Confirmation Portal | Nouvelles informations d'identification pour le portail de confirmation de RP”
and I received this one the same email address provided.

Hi All,
Anyone here who changed job after the PR application. I have not claimed points for job offer. Is this why my application is not moving ahead? I got work permit transfer done. There was no issue in work permit transfer. It was done in 2 weeks. AOR April 18th. VO CPC Ottawa. Anyone who got PR after switching job please give me your input.

Hi. My application for PR got approved on August 23. AOR April 20. Portal email August 18. And, I changed my job after applying my application. I was on PGWP and did not claim points for job offer.
Not claiming for job offer has nothing to do with how your application is being processed.
