CBSA-holding passport....how do you get it back

Hi if CBSA is holding passport when you get approved for permanent residence. Will they send it to your local office or you should request for it?

Why would CSBA be holding the passport? They don't usually do that.

For a previous refugee claim, CBSA will hold the passport. I beleive it is returned at the landing interview. CBSA should forward it to CIC during the final stages.

Yes,CBSA will give your passport back when you do the landing interview!-they are in your local office!

Okay that makes more sense. Figured it was because of a Family Class thing, seeing as it's in Family Class and all haha
