Average timelines according to the CIC website is 20 months, but your timeline looks to be very fast. is there any priority in treating your file?
But nobody can tell guess anything, You can get your PPR in 20 months as you can get it in 8 months
Patience

I have no priority for my file. I have no job offer and never been to Canada before. 3 days ago I received a reminder to pay RPRF but there was never any request for the RPRF.

Hello!

Landed safe last Saturday. All went great and was pretty an easy going exercise. Officers were wonderful and very willing to answer questions within their competences. All the best to the rest of you.

Hi everyone, today I received an email requesting for a "re-assessment of a medical file for a new medical certificate". I know my medical exam is going to expire soon. Can anyone shed any light on this: what does this mean? Does anyone know once I re-do the medical exam, how long it will take for the immigration officer to make a final decision? Any information on this request would be very helpful to me. Thanks very much!!

Thanks my dear friends. I needed just my Confirmation of Permanent Resident documents (both CIC copy and mine) all sent to me with my passport. The officer will ask you sign after asking you two questions in regards to arrest records and dependents (if you list any). You'll sign on three places and if you have dependents under 21 years, you'll also sign for them. Very easy and friendly people. All the best to you all.

Hi jeffh628, did they ask you to redo medicals or did they inform you that they have asked for a reassessment of your medicals? Your response will guide our responses. All the best to you!

It is a "reassessment" of my medical. I did a bit research yesterday, and I think the reason for this reassessment is because my medical from last year is going to expire.
