Hello! Could you please explain to me why the Canadian immigration lawyers still keep accepting the fees from the applicants for the Federal Skilled Worker program? For instance, I keep receiving the letters from the very good immigration lawyers who are willing to guide my application under this program & insist on starting it right now otherwise it could be late. Do they have any information about that list of 38? Just curious.

I'd just like to have the opinion of the professional like you on this matter ) You know it's sometimes very difficult to believe that your dreams can never come true & these sort of people just try to keep this fire on. Shall I believe them?

I don't know if they have any inside information. If you ask, maybe they will tell you. It is also possible that they are just ignorant of the changes being made or have not realized that immigration is already working under the new rules. Not all lawyers are good lawyers same as not all people are good at whatever is their profession. Some are good, some are bad.

If the Conservatives and Prime Minister Stephen Harper are re-elected, their new immigration priorities, which are, as yet unknown to the public, will finally be put into practice. If not, other political parties plan to repeal the amendments and introduce their own strategies for modernizing and streamlining the Canadian immigration system.

You do not need to hire an immigration representative. It is up to you. The Government of Canada treats everyone equally, whether they use the services of a representative or not.

If you choose to hire a representative, your application will not be given special attention by the immigration officer. Your representative also cannot guarantee that your application will be approved

All the forms and information that you need to apply for a visa are available for free on this website. If you follow the instructions in the application guide, you can complete the application forms and submit them on your own.

Providing false or misleading information on your application is against the law and could cause you to be refused entry to Canada, fined or put in prison.

Any person who tells you to include false or misleading information on your application is also breaking the law.

Don’t be the victim of a scam. You must know Who can represent you.

Canadian provincial or territorial law societies: a lawyer who is a member in good standing may represent you or provide advice

Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC): A consultant who is a member in good standing may represent you or provide advice

Chambre des notaires du Québec: notaries who are members in good standing may represent you or provide advice

The Government of Canada will not deal with other representatives who charge a fee for their service.
regards from GK

You can also be represented for free by friends, family, your employer etc as long as they do it for free.I have acted as an unpaid representative for people who have gone to our office for help for some people INSIDE CANADA ALREADY

Suin the lawyers keep accepting fees for the simple reason that they need to paid their bills too, they can't afford to stop receiving applications and start layoff everybody in their office.
