Hi Friends,

Need your help asap...

I am in Canada for more than a year and working in a IT company and working in WP under NOC 2171, I have job offer ..

I took IELTS score of L 8 , R 5.5 , S 8.5 , W 6.5 , I submitted the application under CEC, but it came as Profile Ineligible...

I am not sure, what mistake I did, I was believing I have all the requirements... But it gives me below message..

Application/profile status Profile Ineligible
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Not Met

Federal Skilled Worker Not Met
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met
Canadian Experience Class Not Met
Federal Skilled Trades Not Met

Now, Can i submit a new application with new application? If yes , is going to make any less chance to get the PR?

How can I know what is making my application ineligible?

Thanks

Possibly IELTS scores? You have 5.5 in reading, I can't remember if it needs to be at least 6/7 in all fields for a NOC A job.

It has to be at least 6 in each module of IELTS.

for noc 0/a, ielts gotta be 6 min
only noc b can be lower (clb5)
noc 2171 is noc a
so you are not eligible

I think you can delete and rebuild another ee profile!

Your profile will NOT be eligible unless you improve your IELTS 'Reading' score to "6"

Thanks ReddyCan....

Can any know let me know how many application will be invited for CEC in Express entry this year...

Any number for this year ( 2015) ?

Note : Last year (2014) the limit for CEC for 8000..

Thanks

Not sure about the 2015 CEC limit but keep in mind that if you apply through EE, get ITA and submit all docs by June-July you might be getting into the 2016 CEC as per EE 6-months processing time.

Hi Friends,

I have 2 questions...

1. Can I merge 2 IELTS score and project the results to CIC, will it be acceptable as per Rules, I gave 2 attempts, in my First attempt I scored 5.5 in Reading ? Or we need to score more than 6 in all 4 test in one shot?

2. I came to canada more than a year back and working for a Larger IT Canadian Company. I am from India and came to Canada under ICT - Intra company transfer... I have skilled knowledge and specialized knowledge which cannot be found in Canada, and my Company has reported the same to CIC during my WP processing and I have all Papers related to it...

when I file by PR, its asking with a question do you have a LMO Opinion ? If Yes , I need to fill the date and the LMO number...and I have no idea, if I fill as No , my points gets reduced drastially,.. I have a job offer ( I will continue to work in Canada after my PR in the same company and same role) Note : I am in WP now...

how to tackle this situation ?

Pls advice..

Thanks

1. No you can not merge the scores of two IELTS exam. You have to select your best score and update in the EE profile. If your job falls under NOC 0, A, then minimum 6 is needed in all modules. If job falls under NOC B and you are eligible under CEC, minimum CLB 5 is needed in each module.

2. Unfortunately a job offer with out LMIA/LMO doesn't give 600 points. As you came to Canada on ICT, you are not eligible to get 600 points.

Thank you so much Intocanada...

Your information were so useful.

As a employee can we go to service Canada and apply for LMO opinion and get the LMO number?

Thanks

No. LMIA(previously called LMO) can not be applied by employee. It has to be applied by employer only. Instead +ve LMIA is issued based on the efforts employer has put to recruit Canadian citizen or PR.

pharmacist- EXPRESS ENTRY

I am a pharmacist, having 8 years experience as a pharmacist and last two years as a pharmacy manager. when I apply myself for express entry- i recieved a reply mail saying that profile ineligible. i have cleared my TOEFL and credentialing (WES) not done. Is that the issue.

Hope pharmacists are allowed to apply for express entry.(?)

can I apply again- from my account.(?)

how is the possibility of creating one more profile- as my wife being the primary applicant?
