Not sure you understand or maybe I misunderstood but you mentioned that "They are in Canada with temporary status". So it looks like you do have someone else besides your sister?
Maybe OP means sister and sister's family.

Hi everyone, please can I sponsor my sister if she is already in Canada with a temporary work permit? I don't have a partner, kids or parent to sponsor and I don't have any other family members who are permanent resident or Canadian citizen. Will it be an issue because she is already in Canada? Thanks for your answer.

So no parent or grandparent who is alive abroad?

The sister that I want to sponsor is the one in Canada with her child.

Hi, have you started working out on your application? I’m in same boat but my sibling resides in home country.
sibling's current country of residence do not affect your eligibility to sponsor.
As long as you meet all the requirements to sponsor other family member. (Please read previous posts or IRCC website)

Hello, yes we just send the application.
Have you done by yourself or through lawyer? I am trying to submit application package by myself before submitting just wanted to make sure that I’m eligible as I don’t have any spouse or common law with no parents and grandparents alive. Only have two adult siblings back home. No uncle or aunt who are resident or citizen here.

I did everything myself. I talked to two lawyers previously and they say I am not eligible,1 because my sister is already in Canada and the other one because of her age. I didn't trust them,so I did everything myself.

Good luck you, hope you succeed through this application. Lawyers are brutal these days with half knowledge. Please share any updates here.
