My wife’s application delivered on October 16, received the AOR yesterday. She had lived abroad during eligible period. And she selected Yes for the question 9C and attached an explanation letter instead of CIT077 form. So I guess mystery on 9C is revealed now.
By the way, CIC is really fast nowadays, AOR for my application in July had arrived in 40 days.
I guess @spyfy had mentioned in the 1st page that it does not matter whether you select yes or no- as long as you provide an explanation letter clarifying your action. I have mentioned "NO" and would be attaching an explanation letter stating that even though I had lived outside Canada during the eligibility period,I have answered No because I am not claiming residency credit for that period, and hence the "residence outside of Canada" form does not apply for me.

People who have submitted their application- I am curious to know what Non-Quebec residents had filled for Question 17c- yes or no to be included towards Quebec's permanent list of electors?
The form mentions the answer has no bearing on the application- so I answered "yes" even though I am not a resident currently of Quebec.
Others could you chime in on what you answered?

I am mailing the application for me and my family tomorrow morning. My question is the eligibility period is 6 Nov 2012-6 Nov 2017. And i have more than 200 days extra than the 1095 days. So shall I sign Nov.6 2017 or Nov 7 2017 based on their statment that says: five years BEFORE the date of the application??

Hi. Does anyone here know how to follow up on a FOIA request for US? I sent a request in mid Sep. and the status show that it should have been assigned to someone by end of Oct. but it is not. I wonder if we can contact them and how long on average such a request would take?
Were you able to contact them?

When you filled out the residency calculator the very first questio you were asked was "enter the date you will sign the application". You must have filled in something there. And that is the date you have to sign the application. Easy as that.

I can see my most recent I 94 on that website but not the individual travel dates, submitted a Foia request now.
Have you checked the separate tabs on the i94 website? One only gives you the current info, another one gives you the travel history.

Hi Spyfy. I am not sure if this question has been asked before, if it has I apologize but I dont recall having seen it:

When filling the address and work history: let say my address A start 1 Apr 2017 and ends 31 Oct 2017 and then I move to address B on 1 Nov 2917. As the new form only has month and year and not days, is it ok that the address would look like this:

2017-11 till present Address A
2017-04 till 2017-10 Address B

The question here is does the jump from Oct to Nov sounds ok or it would be considered a gap in between? (And same question goes for work history when a job finishes in the last day of a month and the next one starts on the first day of the next month)

The correct format will be
2017-10 to 2017-11
2017-04 to 2017-10

There should be NO GAP in address.

Thanks

Spyfy could you clarify this?

If it is so, my application might be returned and I have to prepare. The question is when and activity of address finishes in the last day of the month. Should the next address be written as the next month or to make it continuous, start it with the same month?

Hi guys, do we have to write the residential address for the period when we are unemployed? Place you were physically present?
