I only got RPRF request by email with 30 days turnaround time.

I have not received any email for photocopy of passport, RCMP screening, Biodata form.

I mostly see all the CEC applicants receive request for Biodata form, before PPR.

I also have my CEC application in process (applied sep 2012) but no information on that.

I would wait till landing, to withdraw my CEC application.

I think that this is the most frequent question with no definite answer. Are stocks considered as settlement fund at later stages before passport request? Some people say that it is volatile asset but even if you show your bank account you may use it up say buying a new car to replace your crashed car at any time or the bank can go to bankruptcy. So they are sorta volatile too. what do you think?

My timeline is similar to yours....

I am still waiting for any small thing to happen with my file.... I just spoke to my lawyer in canada and asked him to update the forms as I have newborn 2 months ago...

Hi guys, during your medical request email did you also see any deadline or timeline that says you should comply everything within 30 days from the receipt of the email? I received an email with a 30 day compliance of RPRF, Medicals and photocopy of passport...

Did somebody also received the same request?

Im a December 2011 applicant FSW 2..

Based on the other members its hard to monitor how long will it be before getting PPR.. I also have CEC application that i passed feb 2013,, do you have any idea when should i withdraw the CEC application we have?

Hi satya_lucky,

I have applied under FSW2 on Dec 09, 2011 (under CEC in Oct 2012).

I got the request to send the updated documents (for FSW2 application) with updated job letter on June 28, 2013. I sent the docuemts via e-mail on July 08, 2013.

I got the request to send RCMP report on July 09, 2013 that was sent on July 11, 2013.

Nothing after that....I'm still waiting for the MR...

Now I believe in what Steve Jobs said "Life is not fair." Now 38months of waiting while other applicant with similar or less qualifications (as PhD stream) get passed for less than 15moths. Even worse, many of the PhD stream were less qualified than mine. They only had completed 2 years, I have completed the degree. They are not working, I work full time faculty member in Canada since degree completion.

How this effect our attitude and morality in future? Hope we can stay positive. I have sent very strong email to the minister asking clarification about this unjustness process system.

Sometime around 2 to 3 weeks. It takes me around 3 weeks, so does another applicant. But it may be different from case to case.

i send my RPRF , E medical information sheet and photocopy of passport on July 27, 2013..
I dont have any update on my CEC as well.. will there be no effect if i do landing while my CEC application is still on process?

what is we just withdraw our CEC application once we receive passport request?


our work permit is valid until February 2014 we are not sure if we still need to renew our work permit and change it to BOWP (bridging open work permit)

yes i receive document updated request before medical june 29 i receive document request and then july 23 i receive medical request, RPRF,photocopy of passport request.

Do we need to scan all forms and related documents in one file or can we scan each document to a separate file.

Have not visited this forum for a while. Nice to see that quite a number Of people are getting MR, hope 2011 applicants start getting PR soon. As I understand now it's just av11 who got PPR or there was somebody else.
