If you have received the AOR, then your answer to Q1 should be "Yes".

Yes My AOR is 26th Jan, MY WP expires on May 30th. Also is there any timeline that i have to apply BOWP before 30 or 20 days of expiry ? Can i wait for few more weeks ?

Just apply before your WP expires. Your can apply 1 day before your WP expire(Won't suggest this option but just to let you know). Apply AS soon as you have your AOR

I suggest that you do not wait till the last day.... When I was applying the electronic form was not being accepted by CIC website (because of a technical issue) and many who just had one day to apply resorted to applying using the paper based method.

You can actually apply as soon as you receive the AOR. Which is what I did. If you want to wait, you can wait till a week before WP expiration.

Not recommended by me either but giving an idea till what date one can apply.

I dont mind applying but just thinking of why to spend 255+tax for BOWP. My AOR is Jan 26th, expecting PPR anytime but according to the timeline I would have been got PPR 2-3 weeks back. Just been in the group of that "unlucky last week of JAN AOR" I am thinking of waiting at least until this weekend, as my WP expires on 30th May

It has been slow for us that got our AOR in the last week of Jan. You can definitely wait till this weekend if you choose to.

Just wait until 1st-2nd week of May if you dont hear anything from them then just go for BOWP.

Hi all,

I've applied for BOWP on March 18th and I'm still waiting for the approval.

Does anybody have any idea how far they've reached in terms of BOWP applications?

Website says Feb 26th but I don't think that's updated.
