Please call them if your processing time is crossed, then the agent will send message to visa officer
who is handling your file and you could receive in two days, this is what i did mine.
Good luck

Hi Seniors,

Need your advice. I received ITA (CEC class) in last draw and planning to submit APR by end of this week having most of the documents ready by then.

My closed work permit (ICT) is expiring on August 12th, 2017. Given this, when should I be applying for BOWP to be on safer side?
Of late, few applicants have received PPR within couple of months of submitting application. Would it be a good idea to delay BOWP application until June 15th to see if I hear anything back from CIC on my APR?

Thanks in advance.

I have applied it for two months and it is still on hold status. I already received AOR. What is the problem with my case?

Hi,
I have applied for BOWP application, Initially, in my IMM5710E form, I had ticked work permit with the same employer. However looking at my current perceptive I may have the new employer and I don't have the job offer. My BOWP application is not yet processed. Can I do the amendment to my application or replace IMM5710E form?
Thanks for your answers

If you apply for a BOWP and your spouse is not in Canada, Can you make the BOWP include your spouse as well in tandem with your PR application?

Or is that not advisable and just wait for the PR app to finish which already includes your spouse?

Additionally, the question:

We should select Yes

For those applying for BOWP after we submitted our EE profile (FSW) and received an AOR
Is this correct?
Anyone has an idea?

Thanks

Guys need your suggestion,

In BOWP application, they are asking about the Same employer or New Employer what should I choose? What is the difference? Is there any documentation difference?

Since I am living in Alberta. I submitted my PR application on basis of Nova Scotia - PNP. Should I choose Same Employer option or New Employer Option? or it doesn't matter?

I am looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Thanks in Advance

I had the same situation and the same query. There were mixed opinions, but no one had any problems as far as the outcome. Everyone got approved.

I was working with the same employer for the past 1.5 year and would continue to do the same after I get the BOWP, so I choose "same employer".

If you read the blog, for the same situation as me, people have put both "new employer" and "same employer". So it seems like that it doesn't really matter since it is an "open work permit" and it is independent of the employer.

Hope that helps.....
