In your MyCiC account (if you have one which you must if you applied online!) you will find an acknowledgement letter - what address is on that?

ECAS mailing address is consultant address, where as I did not received yet any acknowledgment from CIC for WP. Its just the status saying closed. And your application is approved.

As discussed my company has applied for my WP Extension ( Closed Permit ). The filing was done on March 20th and I am eagerly awaiting for some communication since my CEC is also in progress.

One of friends applied way back on Feb 4th and he received his extension only on March 15th.

However I think there was more processing delay at that time and now things seems to be slightly faster.

Let's see how things go...All the best everyone else waiting like me.

You friend applied on 4 Feb and got approved on 15 March - that is 39 days, I recall the processing times then was around 40 days which was quicker than what it is today - as off 1 May the CIC website shows 64 days to process WPs.
