Biometrics taking too long

I applied for spousal sponsorship for wife and got our eligibility approved. We received biometrics request, went to nearest service canada and gave biometrics. The lady said she the fingerprints are not clear and said she is sending it anyway as she has completed maximum attempts.

Long story short - gave fingerprint on March 10th 2025 and its still not updated on the portal. Portal still says biometrics in progress as of May 18th 2025.

What can I do in this situation?

I would not do nothing. If they need a new biometric, they will request.

It has to be manually reviewed because you weren’t actually able to do the biometrics.

Thanks for the input. I’ve a slip with biometrics number that service Canada gave us. would sending this to IRC’s via webform help the process?

Not really. Later got medical exam to completed status. Biometrics is still stuck

When did you apply? I'm asking because you had medical request. I would like to know the time line for this type of request. Thks

Medical completed: November 14 2025

As I said before, there is nothing you can do. Just wait what IRCC can do about it. The medical request is a good sign.
