wow, does that mean they are planning to finish second reading tomorrow?!

I had never seen prediction of the later days' order-of-the-day.

This means nothing, the same shows on previous order of the days but they still skipped.

The difference is all the time they have the order only for tomorrow, this time it has for the day after tomorrow as well! Never had happened before,

I keep on telling you folks, don't bet your fortunes on that bill.
Politicians have no need of your votes yet. They aren't motivated to to pass this because y'all will forget comes election time.

Now, a few months in their campaigns, this is gonna go through like hot knife on a butter. While your memories are still afresh from the political party's goodwill on granting you the deferral of c-24.
I agree with what you are saying. However, for some of us here, we need to keep an eye on the progress of the bill hoping it is NOT implemented soon. For some of us, we already got delayed by at least a year because of C-24, and if C-6 was to kick within 2017, then we will end up being further delayed by the backlog that will result. I think C-6 hit the turn where many hope it is not implemented at this stage.

An easier way to avoid big backlog would be to take a 2-step approach : first give back the pre-PR credit, and a year or 2 later make the 4/6 - 3/4 switch. Otherwise , no matter when it is implemented, the backlog would be much larger

True, but like someone else said on a previous thread, neither the politicians nor IRCC do not care if there is a backlog or not. They will still process the same number of applications and put in the same number of effort, meanwhile us applicants are the ones who have to wait months and months longer.

That is what's already planned pre pr credit will come into force before the 3/5 rule

Are you sure?
By the way, I have to remind everyone that while we are generalizing and complaining about all Senators, the only one we need to contact (although she does not respond) is Senator Omidvar. She is the one who took over the Bill, and is supposedly working on amendments. I understand it takes time to draft the amendments, and this might not be the most important file on her desk, but I do find it very disappointing how unlike other Senators, she never responds to any public messages. For the record, she is an independent Senator nominated by JT and appointed last March. She is an expert on migration, diversity and inclusion, and seems to care about immigration issues (or at least that is what her retweets appear to demonstrate). Any other Senator I or other colleagues on here contacted seems to point us back to Omidvar. They cannot do anything until she comes back with the amendments. If only she responds and lets the rest of us know what is going on, or at least tell us when she expects to have all ready.
