2 is what I hope because Minister McCallum, Sen. Omidvar and MP Kwan are working on amendments to enhance the revocation process. But those would be the only amendments accepted.
3 is impossible. The Senate will be reminded pretty convincinly of its role, exactly how it was the case for C-2 (tax credits) ans C-4 (Assisted-dying). They can 'enhance' a bill, not make it weaker or decide on its destiny.
If scenario 2 happens then we have to see in how much time things get sorted out.Because in the second reading the bill was moving at a snails speed but still somehow managed to pass this stage in 2.5 months so even if another 2 months are taken to pass the committee stage ,then it can go thorough 3rd reading within a month as there will not be much opposition and delay tactics at this stage after that and June 2017 will be a reasonable assumption for the royal assent.
