Hello Grug,

I am also a pilot. My work permit expired on April 1st and had to leave the country...

As of today, I am waiting for my ECA to submit a BC PNP profile. I do have a job offer from a company in BC and wanted to ask you about SI BC PNP because I do no meet the requirements for EE (short by 2 months of Canadian work expirience for the CEC stream). Will the SI PNP give me a work permit? What's the major difference with EE BC PNP? Getting a PR in 6 months vs around 18 months?

Thank you!

Gill

Hi Gill,

Yes, you will receive a work permit support letter if you are nominated for the BC PNP, and yes, that is the main difference of EE vs SI.

Cheers,
