If I apply for the BC PNP before my current work permit expires but I get the nomination after it has expired, would I be able to get a work permit to keep working for my company until I get the PR?

Actually i have submitted my complete application for bc pnp on jan 2,2017. Till now m waiting for reply, the profile says its in process, but havent got any document request or anything from bc pnp, generally processing time is 2-3 montths, but now its almost four months, i dnt know why m not getting nomination, Its so stressful.
