CHC authorities official surprise visit at my work place , now its almost 1 month after that but no Decision Made yet?????? waiting for 6 months after medical received line up dated in e- case status

When u "send" ur actual [physical/original]pps there'd be a security scrutiny over it. In ur case that'd happen "after" PPR-2.

3-5 months is for the whole family, PA's being stricter, over stretched. As ur's is likely to be done with ur spouse's'd take the bare minimum timeframe (and that's not to the extent of the PA's), which is why I stated 8-10 weeks.

I submitted my wife's passport as private job. Now she is in Govt Sector in BPS 17 from 2009 .
I could not manage to convert private passport into Govt of my wife.
This time CIC sent me updated docs list, should I convert passport into Govt and send them or leave it as it is?

Now let me tell u my understanding normally background and security and criminal checks are done before PPR. However I heared that some checks are valid for only one month and they do it just before sending PPR. . Secondly some times these checks are expired and they redo it regardless of your file is ready for visa. This is why in some rare cases people wait long after submitting pp for visa. By the way many checks are just done these days within 30 minutes, they access our email account all our credit and browsing history, all accounts and sites linked to that email address etc and the information which we are providing nothing is secret. They make our profile within 30 min or less. I think in this modern cyber world nothing is hidden any more. Welcome to the BIG BROTHER HOUSE.

i dont think so...with just our email,they will access all our credit and browsing history...

no one is supposed to access our emails and telephone calls without our consent....or a proper consent/approvals from respective agency.

we are not criminals/terrorists.the only "thing" we have done is that we have applied for PR...thats it na...why they go behind of our emails and other online service accounts..hope ur assumptions are purely immaterial ..

For your kind information email is a public domain and this is not a secret or assumption. With respect kindly read all the agreement before signing for new email account. Secondly Canada is going to give us immigration means potential citizenship and they have all rights to check all aspects of back grounds, criminal records and every thing regardless of some one is innocent or terrorist. This is not written on some one's application that he is innocent.Canada wants to screen carefully every one so that no one enter with any criminal or terrorist record.
Immigration is a big issue, for your information if you apply for only visit visa these days for US or Canada etc they still check every thing a little bit similar to the immigration applications, however in case of immigration screening is more in depth.

well let me share my experience & knowledge with u that when we sign our application form & in the end

there is clear document of consent on which i sign & agreed on their wording that by signing this doc

u r authorizing CIC officials to get info of urs, veryfication of docs & all that it shows that we r

making tham authorized to do so , hahahahahah its not the metter of applying only VISA its the meter

for country who is allowing u in their country & will offer all benifits so thay will perform to check u by all

Uh, I've repeated this a no. of times.

Except for NDVO, upon completion of our b/ground checks we get the Meds. Once the meds reach our RMO - our security checks commence. As it gets cleared we receive our PPR (in case of Pakistanis, who r in Pakistan, it's splitted into two parts, PPR1 & PPR2, b'coz they cannot send their pps to LVO, thus LVO send a note to ISB for stamping it instead, and that's PPR2).

When we submit our 'original' pps -- the VO initiates a 'final check' on the pps (based on the actual document at their hand). This is basically tallying of flagged names, usually with the US, AND scrutinizing the 'original document' against tell-tale signs of forgery. This is their 2nd & final security scrutiny before they stamp that document with their visa.

Couldn't get what u were talking about.
There r just three types of pps, in most countries, 1)Standard pps for the masses, 2)Diplomatic Pps (usually for Foreign Service, MPs & Defence Personnel) and 3)Spl Pps (the ones issued to refugees or semis, w/out granting them a nationality. Usually which is a Travel Document).
Except for Diplomatic Pps (also called "official pps") - the rest r acceptable for PRV stamping by CIC.

I was asked a couple of week ago to give Indian mailing address as they cant send passport out of India. They have given 45 days time to submit local address. Accordingly i did immediately. But still nothing happened. I mean not yet got passport back. Now my question is did they finalize my case? or stamp visa?? or still doing security check or else?? or waiting 45 days dateline ?? pls pur ur expert opinion.
