So i got my notes from CBSA. And i laughed really hard. It was just a summary of my gcms notes from IRCC. 5 pages lol But i know now that my case is non routine and my residency needs to be reviewed. So i do not know how long it will just remain seated.

So in gcms you received redacted content and its same at cbsa as well? i thought that cbsa wont have much notes since cic might just request what your residence days alone. is it more to ask cbsa from cic side?
i dont know why cbsa notes will be helpful except finding the days count sent by cbsa?

CBSA notes are just 5 pages, i was expecting to have my travel history , i do not even see my travel history. Nothing . Its all BS. they were taking 60 days to copy paste. It is just ridiculous.

I dont think they will send you travel history as you asked for cbsa notes in your application. So essentially the same notes in gcms too? So you think that they both cic and cbsa enter notes in gcms?

For travel history you should apply separately to tally your days count.

Its totally same and nothing new. Damn I need to request again for travel history . Sigh !

I was even surprised to see that cic contacts cbsa. I used to wonder why cic officers keep wasting time asking us on complete passport pages and I94.
So what does the notes from cbsa say?
What does cic ask cbsa for your file?

SO FIRST 3 pages client details and 2 pages NOTES/Labels , Notes are the same what is in GCMS nothing new. The most surprising thing is that for 2 fking years IRCC has not contacted CBSA for residency verification , wtf were they doing all this time. I have sent an email back to CBSA that i wanted my travel history and any contacts made from IRCC regarding my residency verification.

Sitting since August 2019 everything is completed other than Residence and prohibtions.

I really dont know every case is different but to figure actually what is the reason its just crazy. Just like confirm I know my residency is a problem.

@luvtrump sorry could you pls elaborate more. So because you traveled frequently during your PR period you mean ? Or something else like changing your residency location? Their website summarize some complicated applications type:

yeah sure. I checked the link but its not there. My absence is 634 days which has caused an extra review of my application.

I know a family who had similar # of absence and they got it in a year but in pre pendamic era.
