I'd recommend requesting GCMS notes.. My cousin did this too, and got PPR mail :)
But, I am not sure if it happened because she submitted request for GCMS notes. Update on her CIC account shows that her file was approved before she submitted request for GCMS.

Thanks for your answer, i did call IRCC many times but there is no final decision yet...

Hello, what is your stream and what was the ADR about?
Also do you know your VO?
Vo Edmonton transferred to Vancouver due to workload...( Agent said that on the phone ).
CEC inland
ADR for schedule A but it was for my son which is Not applicable.

Hey bud

I know a few Sydney people who just got PPR in the last few days. They received the golden email right after security is cleared without any delay.
Thank you bro, that is very encouraging.
Are they August AOR people?
Also from the web enquiry my security says its not yet initiated so i am a bit concerned about that, don’t know if it is just going on in the background or they just haven’t started it yet

Bro

Unfortunately all of them are earlier applicant who have gong through SS, but they received PPR almost immediately after they security was cleared, so there was no delay from the Sydney office itself:)
Do you know why my security says not initiated even after 5months?
Is it going on in the background or just not started yet?

I really have no idea... I am also confused why they are not doing it when they have already done your criminality and eligibility. However, if your security is not SS, then it will be cleared soon after it starts (in many cases 2-3 weeks).

Are you an inland applicant? why not try calling them to know more details?

My progress bar shows only 19 days left, but I feel hopeless now.
Yeah i am inland PNP applicant, i tried calling them last week and the agent said the same thing security not started. When you call them do they say your security is on going or even for you they are saying not started?
Mine says 27days remaining but i don’t trust that process bar it could take more than that.
I hope you’ll get yours soon, don’t loose hope

Also, in your call, you should ask them if you have passed eligibility. The email reply from them doesn't really give you a clear clue about this.
Last time when i called they said eligibility has been met they did not say passed. I am thinking eligibility will stay like that until file is reviewed by a senior officer and it will be changed to passed in the very end just before getting PPR

I have called them a number of times and every time the information those agents gave me was consistent and the same as shown in my CBSA notes, so in my case there is no confusion and it is very clear that I have passed all other stages and my SS is in progress and now I am in the fifth month of SS. I do see lots of people's SS cleared within 5-6 months recently but I highly doubt mine will be cleared within the same timeframe as I feel that I simply don't have that amount of luck:)
I don’t think i am under SS if not the agents over the phone would have said something about that. I am hoping they will do a basic security check towards the end like you mentioned which might take 2-3weeks to process before finalizing my application

You are right, so your eligibility has 99% passed and it wont be touched until the final review, during which the senior officer usually follows the recommendation and doesn't reverse the decision.

You are also right in that there is nothing suggesting there will be a SS for you, but it does seem that no one is currently working on your file, which is also annoying! I think you will hear some good new in the next 30-45 days. I know some people whose applications took slightly more than 6 months to process. They got their PPR 10-15 days after their 6-month processing time had ended.
Yeah i made up my mind that it’ll take more than 6months, just have to wait and see now
I hope we all will get it soon, fingers crossed

Hi Guys

I'm a Chinese national living in the US. Here is my situation.

AOR: Aug 28th
Medical and Biometrics passed: Sept 17th
No updated further. Still reviewing eligibility and background check.

Do you guys know if there will be some updates before PPR that would say if eligibility and background check is complete? In other words, would I be able to get any hint on the timeline given the above information?

Also, is there a group that I can join for Aug AOR folks? My US cell is +1(713)2808963

Thanks for this. Appreciate it.
So I have a couple of follow-up questions.
One is with regard to the ghost update. Will everyone get a ghost update once something moves along or will there be scenarios where there are no ghost updates and suddenly I would get PPR?
Second question is with regarding to calling IRCC. Theyhave the number at 8882422100 but I called a few times and they say the call cannot be connected. Weird.
Third question is under SS. What does that mean and how do I find out if I'm under SS?

Thanks mate

Hey mate

Based on my knowledge, you won't get any hint on how your application progresses in your online account. Most people's status in the CIC account will remain like what you described until the very end of the processing, so I don't think you will be able to deduce anything on the basis of the highly limited information in your account. The only vague hint is perhaps a ghost update which usually indicates your application is moving ahead (but you still wont know what exactly has happened to your file).

If you do seek to know more details, the only two ways are calling IRCC call center and ordering your notes. The information in your account cannot even tell you if your eligibility has passed nor if your security has already been initiated.

Also, you need to figure out if you are under SS. If so, the chance of being finalized within 6 months is slim.
