A friend of mine was in the same situation as you and it was bothering him. He basically called the CIC agents and described the spam folder problem. The lady on the phone asked him to confirm his last communication received from IRCC and she cross-checked with her data and confirmed the same. Incase they had sent something and it got deleted in spam folder the agent can request the VO to resend it to you. So i suggest give them a call.
Btw my friend got his COPR as well post all this.

Thanks a lot Axwell. Your words truly relieved me.
The contact number +1(613)9444-000 is nowhere listed on CIC website. How come folks here got this contact number and get the updates ? Is it official and credible ? Or there is some other phone number which I might not know.
The CIC has the option of filling a 'Web Form' though contact number is by all means a faster way to connect.

No, its not mandatory, though if you try to call with your Service provider, the call charges may burn a hole in your pocket. the wait time goes till 35-40 minutes.
Thanks gau for the reply. One thing intrigues me. Is the number +1(613) listed on CIC official website ? I tried finding it but cud'nt get it there. Please correct me if i missed something.
Is it official and credible number ? or is there some other number which I might not know.

Friends... I have a doubt reg. the CIC agents' contact number +1(613)9444-000 which I got somewhere in this forum only.

I searched for this number on CIC official website but it's not listed anywhere on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.html .

Is this number official and credible ? Please let me know if i am missing something here.
yes this number works.. you just need to be lucky.. if too many people are calling then you won't get an agent.. else you will get a wait time of about 30-40 minutes..

The number is 'Global Affairs Canada' s telephone number, you will still be transferred to Immigration Canada's contact number.I tried now and it worked but still currently on hold though

When you dial this number, it will transfer you to CIC (immigration Canada).

Hi, I spoke to an IRCC agent today and he told me that my eligibility is still getting reviewed, and the background check hasn't started yet.
My AOR date is 6th August 2018, application being processed in CPC - Ottawa.

Just 27 days left to reach the 6 months mark. Can anybody help me understand why they haven't moved past the eligibilty stage yet?

Have ordered the GCMS notes through getgcms today.
Same situation AOR 19th August 2018
CIC agent last week said eligibility is recommended pass but recently yesterday they said eligibility still in progress only 40 days left still at IP1 not sure when our application land to IP2 and post that PPR?

Hey guys,
I just received my gcms notes. And i’m quite worried about the case analyst recommendation for my experience!
Aor : 15th august 2018
CEC INLAND

Note 4:
Date : 2018/09/17“Experience: product specialist NOC 6221 at xyz company. *review required* web based search confirms employer information note : 6221 technical sales specialist_wholesales trade appears loe duties are not consistent with lead statement for declared noc. Pa’s duties may be more consistent with noc 6552(xyz company website). Letter confims salary of...letter confirms full time employment- documented income provided
Work- 0 years 0months of 1 year(s)-review required crs canadian work : 0 years 0 months of 1 year(s)” Visa office was CPC vegreville

Note 1:
Date : 2018/10/26 “received loe about visa refusal at 12 when dep family applied.” Visa office is CPC Ottawa

Assessments :
Eligibility:review required
Security: not started
Criminality : in progress
Medical: passed

Can someone please help me understand the statement of the case analyst regarding my work experience. ( fyi i’m 100% sure my duties match noc6221 and not noc 6552) is there a course of action i need to take to tackle this situation.

I was also able to connect with an agent this afternoon and she told me that my medical is passed and everything else is in progress. Nothing else.

Any help is much appreciated!

Recommended pass, waiting for final remarks? Security not started?
Not really. Everything is not started and this info is not as of now. The agent told me nothing had been started but the CPA's recommendations were all positive. Other than that, nothing. The VO doesn't respond to our E-Mails. We only wanted to know "by when" we can expect a decision so that we could sell the house and submit resignations and so on (2 months notice period), we have no problem with waiting.

I'm no expert but I think you should submit an LOE explaining why your self-declared NOC is the correct one. Each industry is different and the agent may not be familiar with yours.
